Amad Diallo returns to training as Sunderland hope for his involvement against Luton Town
Manchester United has been advised on how to maximize Jadon Sancho’s potential, while Amad has received positive news regarding his injury.
Jadon Sancho, who is 22 years old, returned to the team in February and scored twice last month in the Premier League matches against Leeds United and Leicester City.
Although the forward has contributed five goals and an assist this season, he has yet to fully exhibit his outstanding abilities, and he will aim to regain his top form in the next few months.
Paul Scholes thinks that Sancho could benefit from having a more offensive-minded right-back supporting him, and he has proposed that signing a better player than Diogo Dalot or Aaron Wan-Bissaka in that position could be a solution.
Amad Diallo has received positive news regarding his injury, as confirmed by Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray. The 20-year-old, who is on loan from Manchester United, could potentially participate in the Championship match against Luton Town on Saturday, though it remains uncertain how involved he will be.
Amad has been in superb form for Sunderland this season, scoring eight goals and providing three assists since joining on a season-long loan from United last summer. However, he sustained a hamstring injury during a 5-1 loss at home to Stoke City at the beginning of March, forcing him to miss a game against Norwich City and a defeat to Sheffield United.
Mowbray confirmed that Amad returned to training and appeared to be fit, which is encouraging news for both Sunderland and United.
