Thiago Silva’s Wife Sparks Speculation with Cryptic Message to Graham Potter After Chelsea’s Loss to Aston Villa
Chelsea manager Graham Potter is facing mounting pressure from both fans and family members of his squad.
Potter’s side were defeated 2-0 at home by Aston Villa, who scored either side of halftime through Ollie Watkins and John McGinn.
Despite creating numerous chances, the hosts were unable to salvage any points, allowing their opponents to overtake them in the league.
Chelsea now sits in the bottom half of the table, 11 points out of Champions League qualification.
Fans have called for the English head coach to be fired as a result of this.
Not only that, but family members of the Chelsea team have appeared to express their displeasure with the deteriorating situation at Stamford Bridge.
Belle Silva, Thiago Silva’s wife, took to Twitter to express her disgust with her husband’s team’s performance.
I don’t say anything anymore. I look at the table and we are in eleventh place, very sad… let’s get ready for Tuesday.

Thiago Silva, her husband, was not available for the match as he continues his comeback from injury for Potter’s side.
And it’s not the first time the Brazilian midfielder’s wife has taken aim at Potter, liking a tweet that referred to the Chelsea manager as a “deadbeat tactics coach” after the team’s 1-0 loss to Southampton last month.
With pressure mounting from all sides on Chelsea’s manager, he will be desperate for his team to start producing results soon, beginning with a difficult home match against fellow strugglers Liverpool on Tuesday.
Silva’s return cannot come soon enough for the Blues, who face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals, as the 38-year-old is crucial to Potter’s defense.
