Riyad Mahrez makes Man City admission following cup victory over Liverpool FC
Man City advanced to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup after overcoming Liverpool on Thursday night.
Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez applauded the Blues’ attitude following the Carabao Cup Round of 16 triumph over Liverpool on Thursday night.
Pep Guardiola’s side advanced in the opposition with a 3-2 win over Jurgen Klopp’s men, with Erling Haaland, Riyad Mahrez and Nathan Ake all getting on the scoresheet for the home side.

“Everybody returned with a decent mindset and prepared to begin once more,” Mahrez told Sky Sports. “It was an extreme rival to begin with yet we’ve finished the work and we were particularly, last part, and after the third goal we kept an excellent, we were excellent protectively and halted them to score a third goal so we’re blissful.”
