Jadon Sancho and Casemiro spotted in training as Manchester United begin preparations for the Carabao Cup semi-finals
Manchester United returned to training on Monday ahead of the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest.
United play Forest at the City Ground on Wednesday, hoping to rebound from a weekend defeat at the hands of Arsenal at The Emirates.
A new face in training for United ahead of the cup tie was Axel Tuanzebe, who made his comeback to the first team group.
He is unlikely to play, but his presence as a fresh face at a vital juncture in the season will elevate the squad.
Jadon Sancho is in a similar position. The winger (top) was sporting a trim new look, appearing slimmed-down after working intensely on his fitness.

Sancho has been out of action since October, and the reason given was a lack of fitness rather than an injury.
He returned to training last week, and Erik ten Hag told United’s website that he is eager to see him play again.
“We have to cover so many games, but especially we need quality players, and he is a quality player who can make the difference and we are expecting that from him.”
Casemiro raring to go
Manchester United were without Casemiro against Arsenal last weekend. The Brazilian is almost certain to start this upcoming semi-final encounter after serving his sentence for five yellow cards.
Casemiro seemed refreshed after the weekend and ready to go in training. Since coming from Real Madrid in the summer, he has been great for the Red Devils.
The second leg of the semi-final takes place next week at Old Trafford. If United advances to the final, we will face the winner of the match between Newcastle and Southampton.
