Haaland Speaks: The Two-Word Tweet Before Man City vs Arsenal That Has Football Fans Talking
Before Man City vs. Arsenal, Erling Haaland tweets a two-word message.
Arsenal has lost all three of their recent contests, drawing with Liverpool, West Ham United, and Southampton.
Wins in those contests would have allowed the Gunners the luxury of dropping points at the Etihad, but in order to maintain their title-winning odds in the Premier League, they must now defeat Manchester City.
That’s not at all simple, particularly with a freak of nature like Erling Haaland at the top.
The Norwegian joined the Premier League in the summer of last year, and he has made it seem so simple. He has so far tallied 48 goals and six assists across all competitions, and he will serve as City’s star player once more tonight.
Last night, Haaland used Twitter to address Arsenal. He’s prepared, that much is certain.
Arsenal might struggle with Haaland today.
William Saliba has been removed from the contest due to his back injury’s failure to heal. The Frenchman handled Haaland quite well the first time, but now Rob Holding will be in charge, which is concerning.
Arsenal will need to cut off all supply to Haaland while being extremely cautious during transitions. They must be swift in their own offensive transitions so they can get the ball to players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
But if they continue to blow opportunities like they have in their last three games, Haaland will annihilate them.
