Man City star Erling Haaland was caught on camera using his phone while driving his Rolls-Royce.
In a video obtained by The Sun, the striker was seen using his smartphone while driving.
The 22-year-old was believed to be driving near the Etihad Stadium in his Rolls-Royce Cullinan, which cost around £300,000 new.
According to the Sun, the incident happened the day after he scored five goals in City’s 7-0 thrashing of RB Leipzig.
Anyone caught using a cellphone while driving will receive six points and a £200 fine.
“It’s a straight red with no excuses,” an AA spokesman told the newspaper.
“It is dangerous to drive while holding your phone.” This is clearly an own goal for someone who is so good at scoring.”
Haaland joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer and has made an immediate impact.
He already has a record of 42 goals in 37 games, including six hat-tricks.
With 28 goals already, the Norwegian striker is a foregone conclusion for the Premier League Golden Boot.
According to reports last week, City are ready to offer him a new contract that would make him the first Premier League player to earn £500,000 per week.
Anyone caught driving while using a cellphone faces six penalty points and a £200 fine, and their license may be revoked if they passed their test within the last two years. The laws governing cell phone use while driving were toughened last year, with former transport secretary Grant Schapps explaining at the time that stricter measures were being implemented to encourage drivers to drive more safely.

“I will do everything in my power to keep road users safe, which is why I am taking a zero-tolerance approach to those who decide to risk lives by using their phone behind the wheel,” he said.
The incident involving Haaland occurred just hours after he scored five goals for City in the Champions League, bringing his total to 42 in all competitions since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund last summer. However, after the final whistle, former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann insisted that the jury is still out on Haaland before claiming that Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is a better striker due to his superior link-up play.
“For Haaland to score five, it’s brilliant, but obviously the jury is still out as to whether he makes Manchester City better overall across a season,” said Hamann, as quoted by The Metro.
“Having him is great, but that doesn’t mean they get a bye for the rest of the Champions League. They still have to play a quarter-final and a semi-final. They’re five points off Arsenal in the League and it remains to be seen whether he’s the player who wins City the Champions League.
“They’ve got as good a chance as probably one or two other teams. But whether he’s really the missing piece of the jigsaw for European success remains. For me, Osimhen is probably a better all-round player than Haaland right now and links up play better.
“Haaland is a very direct player and I was cautious whether he really fits into that City team. He may prove me wrong at the moment, if you look at his goalscoring and stats, but they could still be trophyless at the end of the season.
“I think he’s a player every top club should go for, because for me at the moment, Osimhen is the best centre-forward in the world.”
