Chelsea has made an offer of €100 million in cash and a player to finalize the deal.
Chelsea are reportedly making another big bid for Benfica striker Enzo Fernandez.
The transfer market has been open for some time now, and we have recruited a slew of players who have improved important areas of the pitch – as well as some potential talents.
Fernandez, on the other hand, has been strongly connected with a significant move since his amazing 2022 World Cup performances, which helped Argentina win the title, and he is a player that the club much admires.
Benfica successfully repelled the Blues’ initial attempts to recruit the midfielder – after they reportedly submitted a proposal of £80 million earlier in transfer season – but they are now looking to sign the World Cup winner.
Roger Schmidt recently revealed that he does not expect Fernandez to leave the club this month and is content to finish the season at the Estadio da Luz.
Schmidt announced the player’s absence during a press conference today before of Thursday’s league encounter against Pacos Ferreira. When asked if he was certain Fernandez would stay, Schmidt replied, ‘Yes. When you see Enzo play for Benfica, you see a really happy player in excellent condition.
‘He can’t think of anything else. I don’t expect to lose any of our regulars, which is why I see very focused players, and I hope that continues’.

The kid is excellent and has a bright future in the game, but he’s not worth the money, folks.
