Casemiro believes the youngster will be “great for the next ten years at Manchester United.”
When questioned about teammate Alejandro Garnacho, Manchester United midfielder Casemiro was effusive in his appreciation.
Casemiro has praised teammate Alejandro Garnacho, saying the teenager has a bright future ahead of him.
Both players appeared in Saturday’s FA Cup final loss to Manchester City, with teenager Garnacho particularly impressing from the bench in a late cameo.
Garnacho has had a breakout season at Old Trafford this season, and Casemiro was eager to laud him when questioned about his abilities.
“Recently he has renewed with the club, he is a player for whom the club contributes a lot,” he told the Argentine publication El Destape.
”He has the affection of us as players, but we also have to be careful because in the end, he is 18 years old. You have to go calmly so as not to burn stages.
”We know that he is a great player, but he’s also great for the next 10 years at Manchester United, we’re sure he’s going to be a great player here and he’s becoming very important to us.”
Garnacho just signed a new five-year contract extension at Old Trafford, keeping him at the club until 2028.
